Air lock? Starting problems!

Im pretty sure my 91 has an air lock. It will turn over, but wont actually start. I replaced the glow plugs, tried plugging in the block heater for a few hours, still nothing. Can someone tell me the best way to release the air. Im going to try plugging the water drain hose. I herd im supposed to crack the injector lines open and crank the truck till fuel comes out. Now do i do this to each one, one at a time, or all 8 at once?

Unless you had the fuel system open for some reason, it should not airlock. That said, there can be some causes. To purge, you can open or remove the schrader valve on the filter housing to get the air out of there so it will get on into the injection pump. There is a return line from the injectors that goes to the filter housing, and sometimes the check valve in it goes bad allowing fuel to drain back to the tank. Disconnect that and plug it off, and cap the filer housing side as well. Also, inspect the return caps and lines from the injectors for any kind of leaks or cracks. If so, the return lines and caps should be replaced.

I always just crack open one injector line and crank untill engine starts on seven cyls. then stop engine and retighten pipe nut. It can be a real pain finding a air leak. Ont time just a tighten on the pipe nuts at the filter head and yhe injector pump cured mine, another time I found the water seperatror drain was leaking and allowing the fuel to drain so I bypassed that and no bother since.

did you recently change the fuel filter and did you fill the filter before you installed it ... you can loosen all the lines and it will purge a little quicker.
dont crank too long on the starter !!! also make sure the batteries are charged up.
