Hello everyone. This is my first post, and I hope I can get some suggestions on what to do with my 1978 F-150 4x4. I have 33/12.50/15s on a 15x10 rim without a lift kit. I was wanting to level the front with the back as the front sits a little lower. I talked to a guy at 4 wheel parts specialties and he told me I could get new coil springs for the front that were 1.5" taller and it should level out pretty good. I initially thought about putting on a 4" lift kit but I got brand new tires and think the 33's would look small after the lift. I was hoping to get some imput. Thanks
Welcome to the site. The 33s would look a little small, but not that bad, b/c you would only be able to run 35s without rubbing on a 4" lift.
I'm putting a 6" lift with 36s and they'll be alittle undersized for that lift, but I don't want any problems with fender rub, and I'll prolly up size tires latter.
You could put 2" coils up front, but for a little more money, you get a better look and the option of upsizing tires latter.
OR You could put some 4" coils up front, and some 3" blocks out back, along with new radius arm bushings(7 degree), and You'd prolly need a drop pitman arm and drop trac bar bracket. You might be able to get away with not needing radius arm drop brackets.
