with my flip chip i can change between progams in a second, i have found that my trucks seams to start a little better in the cold with the chip set to my "Tow" program. it has a little higher idle than the rest and i am sure the fuel timing advance helps. it does however blow alot more smoke than in the stock setting.
with the edge/juice program, it has cold-run safety. it will not add power to the engine until it gets warm, to a certain extent. it will go, but slowly and sluggishly.
