Going to the junkyard tomorrow...
What is a good price on a decent tailgate (all latches work, no rust, etc.)?? Do all '73-'79 gates fit eachother??
Also, what is a good price on a bench seat with no rips/tears in the Vinyl??

A good original tailgate is worth at least 100 bucks in the condition that you described. they are hard to come by, so don't expect to find one.
Yes, the new ones are 80 dollars, but trust me, the original ford ones are much better. I have a new JC Whitney tailgate, and not only does it lack the ford lettering on the gate, but it is nowhere near as sturdy as a good Ford tailgate.
