Don't know how it is in other areas but finally the gas prices are coming down a bit. Today it was 2.87 for regular and 2.99 for 91. That is down from 3.02 and 3.15 yesterday. Hopefully it will drop some more.
Oh you all quit your whinnin about prices to fill up!! It cost me over 80 bucks to fill mine up and i paid 2.99 here and they fell another .07 tonight!! So much for me chippin my truck with the outragoues prices!!
I had been holding off filling the car, but needed to fill in Hays today and it was 3.04 at Dillons this morning. $2.89 at one station here in Manhattan tonight. They had E85 in Hays for 2.84 this morning. I'm not sure the 95 yota would run on that though. I've been driving it cuz it gets 32-35 mpg.
Yesterday morning when put some gas in my beast casey's was at 2.95 for 90 and the weekend before at Reserve Diesel was 2.67 gallon. Not sure what is now tho.
The news today wasn't good. The forcasts was that fuel would remain high for the next few months. Throw in the 71% increase in natural gas prices for this winter and OUCH!
Glad I got a wood stove in the house. Now if I could get my truck to burn wood! lol.
Last I heard on the news was that the fuel prices would be high atleast until October and that the natural gases would increase anywhere from 15% to 65%.
Most places are at 2.69 arouond town today. I usually go to the kwik shop up at k96 and Amidon, at the current prices, I can get mid gradefor 2.66 with the dillons card.
