Evap code

I have a 97 F150 with a 5.4. It keeps throwing the evap code. It says it detects a small leak in the evap system. I've had this system smoke tested 3 times & nearly every part replaced in the system. I tryed a new gas cap. My dealer has given up. What can cause this? The truck is running great but this code keeps coming back. Its done it for about 2 yrs no. I just reset it now & drive it. I haven't tryed changing the purge valve. Could it be my problem?

Try checking the return tube to see if there is rust or a hole in it,(the return tube from the filler neck) if you check back through the early post you should find some arecles covering it. there could be mud covering the hole. in any case the tube needs to be replced and it will solve your problem.
