using acetone to increase mileage

I did 1.75 oz of acetone per 10 gallons a week ago. The truck runs better, more power, less smoke and went from 16mpg to 19mpg. I will say the plastic cup I used to poor it in started melting so I started to get concerned so before I put more acetone in after this last fillup I want to know if there are any concerns I need to look for. Also is it okay to use all the time or should I vary it.

Let me know
thanks

acetone in a diesel are you serious? that will ruin the lift puump and the injectors. acetone is for use in gas cars and trucks.

The author suggests not to continuously add acetone to each and every tank of fuel, rather only to every other tankful. The slightest amount of acetone seems to be highly effective for mileage and significant emissions reduction. Most diesel fuel is oily and a tiny amount of acetone has zero effect on injectors--

Found what i was looking for. I guess if I read the whole web site I could have figured this out myself.
