HELP, I have a 95 f-150 manual I just bought and I am having problems already.

I was driving it last night on the interstate and went to downshift to pass and all the sudden the truck had no power. I pulled over and tried it in every gear and the truck would not move. The truck was also smoking, The smoke was a whitish grey color. The clutch still has tension and it wil still go into gear but it just won't move. HELP

has the slave cylinder let go? or the clutch master cylinder or hose? check to see if any fluid is left.

Where was the smoke coming from?

Nothing happens when you let the clutch out??

Whitish grey? We call that "Death Smoke".

How fast were you going and what gear did you downshift to?

Could you have pulled in into 1st instead of 3rd? 2nd instead of 4th?
