Spring Swap

I have the stock springs from my 1995 F350 4x4. A friend of mine wants to level his 1999 Superduty and wanted to try my springs.

Does anyone know if my springs will fit and lift the front of a 99 SD and give a more level stance?

Doubt it (if your talking about using the front leafs anyway) would level his superduty, reguardles of waht motor you f-350 has, those front leafs will have near zero arch to them (as compare to a set of lift leafs for ex.). But any easy way to tell is to go take a long broom handle or something and then run it from eye to eye, then measure from the centre pin on the leaf spring to the broom handle. Now do the same thing for your buddy's superduty, only due it once with weight on the axle and thne again with the axle at full droop (the distance the leafs travel will give you an estimate at how much the 95 leafs will compress under the weight of the supeduty). If it turns out that the the 95 leafs will level the truck (say an inch or two), by all means go for it but if its a dd, be sure to put some new spring eye bushings in there if they're worn out.

the 95 leaves are too short, and the centerpin is in the wrong place, it would be more trouble than its worth, and would only net a stiffer ride, no lift
