Bucket Seats

I was wondering if anyone put bucket seats out of a late 80's bronco in their 73-79 ford half tonne. If so what all did you have to do to make them work.

I think all the frames from 73-86 are stamped for all the different seat combinations, you might have to do some work to the floor board to make them fit, and I've also even heard that seats out of explorers, super dutys, and others like that would work up to 99 or so, but I personally don't know about those.
I've seen someone screw some 2x4s to the floor board and then screw the seats on to the board. Not a recomended way to put bucket seats in.

I know others have done this, so wait for a response form them.

You can get the brackets out of '67-'72 F-100 w/ the bucket option (mainly Rangers) & use them in the '73-'79. Hard to find (I lucked out), but someone on here is repop'ing them....
