Steering change ??
I just bought a 73 f150 which has been changed to a 78 power steering box. It has the wrong tie rod ends. Can anyone tell me who or where I might be able to get the right info on which parts I can use to correct this problem?
The drag link from a 78 fits for the length, but the i.d. in the tie rod for the drag link is too large as is the i.d. in the king pins for the tie rod ends.

You might try a "real" parts store, or sneak in to talk to an "older" front end guy at a shop, or just plain take it to a independent shop.
