We are trying to find someone that may know something about the 1966 Ford Econoline Pick Up. We have one that we have never seen it's options on another truck but it is all original. It is a 240 CBI engine with a 9" differential with heavy springs. It has a heavy dut turck 3 speed but it is not a top loader. We found out it was offered to dealerships perhaps exclusively back then. The local dealer that had this one, could only order 2 since they were limited. In 1966, the other one he had ordered was destroyed in a tornado. He drove it as his personal back and forth to work vehicle then sold it to an elderly couple who owned it for 10 years, when the man died, the dealer bought it back from the widow and kept it for several years. He then sold it and the person he sold it to was the person we got it from. It is all orginal except for the wheels and perhaps the seats but we aren't sure if they were a special option too.
CAN ANYONE give us information on this or can you give us a web site where we can get information?
