Repair estimate
What is a resonable price for a shop to charge to put on a clutch? just the disk itself no throwout bearing, pressure plate, or slave cylinder. (just had them put on but wore the clutch out towing) 150? 200 dollars?

The labor sounds about right. But here's the catch your pressure plate, pilot bushing and release bearing have the same amount of ware on it as the old clutch disc had. For a few more dollars in parts you could have had a new clutch setup and the labor would have been the same. I have done this same thing for customers at thier request but I've yet to have one of them happy with the results. And if you do alot of towing it wont be long and you'll be back in the shop.
