Is it "chipped"?

Could anyone tell me how to tell if the previous owner chipped or tuned my powerstroke?

It is a 2000 crewcab short box. I stepped on it hard the other day to get around a slow car and it really surprised me with the power. I didn't ewxpect that from any diesel.

If it's chipped you will be able to see the chip on end of computer down by E-brake. Hard to tell if reprogrammed with out program at dealership. Why not ask the guy you bought it from?
