Green Filter Systems
I have read about someone using a "Green Filter" www.greenfilterusa.com stock #2169 to build homemade air intake systems. He mentioned he replaced the old filter (a donaldson type) with the green filter and noticed 2-3 more lbs of boost and better response.
The Green filters are supposed to be really high quality, and are re-usable, but was really wondering if anyone else has ever used them before. I think they are fairly new, but I'm thinking of going that route.

Doesn't look to me to be any different than a red K&N, or a blue Holley oiled filter. Probably work as well as any other oiled filter. The problem is after repeated washings the filter media is going to shink and gaps will form between it and the rubber surround, and it will start passing dirt.
