With the rising prices of gas No excuse me the Insane prices of gas nowadays does a limited slip diferential pull your gas milage down or is there no difference compared to an open differential?
The limited slip will not make anykind of difference in you gas mileage, at all(period) !
I did some gear work and put in a LS and my mileage went up a little, but that was prolly because of the gearing.
A LS, locker, mini spool, or spool wouldn't hurt your gas mileage, but a spool would eat up your tires in turns, that's about the only draw back, other wise they all have their own strong points.
Well when it comes to the prices of gas I think Bush is just lining his pockets instead of watching out for the average joe american who put him into office.
They will probably be opened when we have become numb to the higher prices of gasoline there fore they will not have to lower the prices thus losing billions of dollars for their bank accounts
I know what you mean, they were suposed to open land in Alaska years ago, but never did, now that we need it, they're saying they might be able to pass a bill through congress and get it passed with in a year or so. Oh and the us is suposded to get a big oil deal from Saudi Arabia in either 2007 or 2009, what is suposed to happen now to bring the unbievable prices down?

actually a locker, spool of any kind would eat up some mileage do to the motor having to turn both tires. and ls only engages when a tire slips so on pavement it wouldnt engage.
