the rear right drum on my truck seems to lock when i press the brake ever so lightly and it skids and leaves black marks on the street. is there some way to reste the brake assembully, or should i rebuild the entire thing? this would explain why my brakes never seemed to work right to begin with.
Jack up the back end and spin the rear wheels to see if the ctaching wheel is adjusting closer to which you back it off a little with adjustment.
Stuff like this used to happen a lot in the 50's-60's when you buy over size shoes and only ONE side at a time.
Nowadays, you know of course, a person is to replace boths sides at the same time.
Joe ,Did you ever order and get your wheels ?
