Hello!
I Trying To Figure Out What Can Be The Problem In My 97 E150.
The Heater Is Blowing Hot Air Only In High Speed Fan.
The A/c Is Blowing Cold Air Only In High Speed Fan.
The Other Fan Speeds Isn't Blowing Air. No Noise, But We Can Hear The Resistor Noise When We Put On Heat. The Fan Stop.
Somebody Knows What Can Be The Problem?
- Blower Motor Relay?
- Fan Switch?
- Resistor?
- The Fuses Is Ok Under The Dash
- The Fuses Is Ok Under The Hood(power Distribution Box), One 50 Amp Is Missing(rke Module, Auxiliary Blower Motor Relay).
Hi pfogle
Where is located this fan switch?
In case a bad blower motor, why the motor is working in high? Could not be the blower motor resistor? Where is located the resistor?
The blower motor relay fuse (50 amp fuse) is new. The blower motor relay looks good, because when removed nothing works, When put it back works only the high speed fan. When I switch the climate control ****(vent, max a/c, normal a/c, heat, defrost) I can hear a little noise under the dash(vent door open and close, 1 "zzzzz" noise for heat, 1 "zzzz" a/c compressor charging), but no fan.
I could be thinking of another vehicle but check they resistance pack that is used for the lower speeds, typically found mounted on/thru the duct work by the blower.
I'll check the resistor first. How to access this resistor? I think it is located under the hood, passenger side, inside air ducts on the black blower motor box with 6 bolts on that. Am I right?
