Dies during warmup

My '92 truck cranks up just fine. If I let it warm up without driving it it will suddenly start to die but will pick back up just before dying. When i drive it before it warms up I have to put it in neutral at stop signs or it will die.All of this disappears after total warm up. If it does die on me it will crank right back up with no problem. Puzzled!!! Fuel problem or electronic problem? Please help.

First, is the check engine light coming on? One possibilty is the Engine Coolant Temp. sensor. (ECT sensor).

No check engine light. I double checked the codes no luck there.
