Trading EXPO in for Diesel Crew
I need help. I have narrowed it down to 2 trucks: Both 4WD, both Crew Cab. The first is a 99 with 7.3 L, XLT, 57000 miles and the maintenence records are recorded by the same person until 40,000 mile service. Only problem is that it pulls to the right a bit.Asking 23,000. 2nd truck is a 2003 6.0, Lariat 90,000 miles for 24,900. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I'd probably go with '03 PSD. 90k on an '03 makes me think that truck wasn't just sitting in a shop or driveway somewhere, it was being driven. If the maintenance records (OASIS), and an inspection by an outside certified diesel tech, check-out, it may be worth it. The down side is that there's not much left on the engine warranty.

Thanks for all of the feedback. Unfortunately, due to rising gas prices, the trade in value for my expedition is roughly 1/2 of what I owe. That's just too much to stomach when my expedition is a great vehicle. Probably going to sell the truck outright, then start looking for a diesel. Thanks for all of the advice
