Okay, after finally lurking here for a month or so and soaking up all the good advice, I finally have put up pictures of my baby, [link:www.ford-trucks.com/user_gallery/displayalbum.php?&albumid=1714|Mulberry]. She is a '79 F150 Custom 4X4 (interior tag on the glove box says Ranger XLT, but that is the only place that appears, so maybe dash came out of another truck??). Some say she's not much to look at, but I think she's a beauty. The previous owner, a good 'ole boy from Gordonsville, rebuilt the motor (351M) with some go-fast goodies (Weiand intake, Holley carb) so she runs like a scalded hound.
When I got the truck, I told my wife it was to haul things around the house in, but I love driving it so much that it is now my daily driver. The funny thing is that I work at a law firm and I get a kick out of parking this thing in the garage next to the beemers, vulvas and caddies. Lets just say it stands out.

I also wanted to say thanks to all the folks who contribute to this site. I read it every day and learn something new and useful each time. My son (age 4) loves the truck even more than I do (he named it), and he and I will be working on fixing up Mulberry for the next few years, and I fully plan on handing him the keys to it when he turns 16. Keep up the good work!
Robb

Welcome to FTE! Isn't it amazing how much you can learn in a day just from reading this stuff!?!

If I were you, I'd park it on an angle and take up two spots.

K.
