It took me a while to get the truck running due to work and spending most of my little time off from work helping the kids with homework. Anyway now that I have a little more time to work on it I just got bad news from work and funds are gona be pretty tight in the very near future.
The question is does anyone have any idea how comparabe a fuel injected TBI compared to a carb as far as performance and economy. I've read both sides of the story (not many though) and it seems to be a draw with the Commander system and a well tuned carb. Does anyone have any experience there? I'm pretty sure there is no competition between the carb and the Commander with multy port (which it has the capability) but I don't have a multyport set up and it sounds pricy to get the intake and the rest of the hardware. The truck is just for daily driving so I wont realy do any racing. So, having said that much, should I sell the Commander pro and get funds to finish up the project or should I keep it and upgrade later? Don't know how long beffore work gets any better if any so funds may be hard to come by.
Does anyone have any idea how much it cost to get a multyport intake and hardware such as runners, injectors, etc.......
Thanks for any input........
