Hello, I am new to FTE also. You posted that you are a diseal newbie. Well I am a diseal mechanic so feel free to ask any questions you have about the engine and I will be glad to help. I will say that unless you have newer power stroke you wasted your money by getting a diseal.

Tim, thanks for the link, I'll check out the info.

Mech63B, I have a 2006 F350 CC 4x4 Lariat longbed PSD. It's my first diesel, and I'll definitely ask if I think of any diesel related questions. Thanks!

mech63, I sure don't know why you said that...Before getting my new 05 PSD, I had a '92 F250 7.3 diesel and it was great!! We don't start out with a lot of bucks for newer vehicles and we must get what we can get. It's also better to start out with one you can work on yourself and learn from it. I wouldn't want to discourage someone just because he can't buy a brand new truck!!

red3171, have a ball with that diesel !!
