Ignition Problem

well i have a 77 ford w/ 460 and i am pretty sure that the heat here in az has gotten to my ignition coild cause its getting harder to start as the weeks pass and i already put in new plugs and wires wsi am sure its not that so a couple friends of mine said it sounds like the coil is getting ready to bite the dust and suggestions and if it is the coil any recomendations would be appreciated and the ignition is stock BTW

Take the ignition module to a parts store to get it tested (usually free). After that use the test procedure in the service manual to find the source of the problem.
