93 F-150, 2x4, 302. I change trannys and ever since I have a ruff idle problem. When I start the truck it has a ruff idle and when I excellerate in park it gets worse. The problem seems to stay during excelleration when moving but does not seem to get worse, if that makes sense. I can not tell the problem is there when at cruising speed. ie 55+ miles per hour. But when I let up on the throttle as it idles down the problem is more prevelant. HELP!!!

 

im not an expert on tranys, but did you use the same trany it had before. could it be that the flywheel needs to be machiened. I have always had that done when I replace a tranny. mainly becasuse it is right there when you get the trany off. let me know what you think. good luck
