73-79 only speaker location??
has any one ever put a sub between the tcase shifter and the dash??
i got 2 lighting audio 12s from a buddy and wanna try to get one to fit in there.
if it wont fit there where else will it fit in our beloved trucks?

You could fit the 2 12s right behind the back seat right next to each other in th middle, and have some room left over on each side. A amp can fix under the seat too, but wouldn't be to to well ventalated.

I have a 10" sub in a rolled box behind my seat (you can see it in my gallery under the carpet replacement pictures) It still leaves a lot of room on each side.

If you ever decide to go to bucket seats I saw a pretty trick box built one time that fit between the seats and also functioned as a center console.

You could build a box, fiberglass the outside, put it in the front of your bed, and port it into the cab.
