old body style
With all the concerns in regards to the 6.0, are the OBS trucks in high demand? My baby runs great but it is getting along in the tooth when it comes to comfort. It is a 96' scab with good looks only I need a crew for the family. At this point I might be going with a super duty possibly a V10. What do you guys think?

I think the V-10 is a great engine, but the 10-12 mpg it gets would be a little difficult to live with at $3.00 per gallon.
I think most of the big problems that the 03 and 04 6.0's had are pretty well ironed out at this point, but I understand your reluctance. I'm not too interested in owning one either.
What about an 02-03 7.3, or are you only thinking new vehicle?

I am thinking new vehicle but I am not anchored to that thought. At this point in time, the diesel is on the average 30cents more than regular gas and I am now driving farther. It is now a wait and see kind of econony. With the US suffering its own kind of Tsunami in the Big Easy my needs are somewhat moot at this point. Prayers to those states and people.
