Would anyone happen to know the length of the front and rear brakelines on a 1978 f-150? It's an 8 ft bed. regular cab style. I have been looking around for this info, and short of crawling undernear the truck and attempting to measure them myself, i'm not having much luck. *chuckles*
I just bought the premade straight pieces from the auto store and bent them to fit. Cheap, easy, and you can always get quick replacements. I think I used a 40" for the passenger rear, a 20" for driver rear, two 60" from back rubber hose to proportioning valve, 18" driver front, and a 60" passenger front.
hrm. *scratching head* I was looking into buying some of the steel braided numbers off ebay. a guy has a set of 21' front lines for sale. It looks like, from the measurements you give, these puppies would work. Haven't seen braided rear yet. New is a lot of moolah. This person had them left over from a project.
