73 and 77 compatability

I have a '73 F150 4x4 camper special I am trying to restore. I found a 77 F100 in the paper parting out for $300.00. Are the parts compatable?

all depends on what you are using. fenders, hood, doors, and glass are the same. 77 bed should have doors for the gas fillers, 73 doesnt. a lot of small parts will inter change, some wont. that is if you are doing a restoreation. if you are just fixing one up, well you can use almost every part off of the 77 onm your 73.

I agree, the major differences would be the gas door on the bed and the grills are different. Most of the other stuff should work.
