check out my gallery, i got my new fuel tank ive been working on installed tonight.
the pro's are: 30 gallons capacity versus 15
wont leak through vent when full
much more sturdy.....i can stand on it
it wont let water leak into the tank when it rains like my old cell did
and more bed space
I got it for free, and put 30 bucks into it
and lastly...it has a gauge on the side, and a water trap/drain on the bottom
the cons are: it is about 50 lbs heavier dry than my old fuel cell
BTW, you really need to change the wording from the Aerostar to your truck.
naw man, you didn't know his truck started out as a 2006 aerostar? yea man about the only thing left though is the frame! we woulda left the body but the motor wouldnt fit
Awesome, I dig it. Sure, lighter is better but I don't really mind a little extra weight since our pigs are so heavy anyways. Besides, that weights centered. Look good
i definitly love the tank, the range will be great
i put it in last night because i knew gas was about to shoot up...ive topped both my trucks off everyday this week, its full, my other truck is full, and my old 20 gallon fuel cell is full sitting on my porch(that thing is heavy) =)
