Im one of the unfortunate ones who has square head lights on my 78 ranger 4x4 Ive noticed a few with the same grill but round head light frames will these mount in the same holes as my square ones, provided I changed the headlights also?:7

To replace the Rectangular headlights with round lights you need to change the headlight bucket, light & bezel.

But why would you want to do this?
Ranger's & up got Rectangular headlights,Custom's got round one's.

Mil1ion ---

During the restoration of Harrison, I sure wish I could get new 1974 custom headlight buckets...his eyes bob up and down when traveling at night....

...know where I can get NEW units with the springs?

Thanks...

Ive just always preffered the look of round headlights. Looks a bit classier, older. The rectangular lights look a bit to 80s.

Actually...Round headlights were put on the Custom's.

The Rectangular Please.were put in Ranger and up trim levels.
I have the brochure if you want verification.

Otherwise the President of the United States sits in a Round office instead of an Oval office.

Square means 4 sides being EQUAL.

The headlights are Rectangular.

It was once thought that *the Date of manufacture* was the difference.
