Great Feeling

Finally got my truck on the road. I picked it up about 3 months ago from my brother who abused the tar out of it. It was in pitiful shape. Ended up replacing the entire brakeing system (front and back) except the Master Cylinder. Complete tune-up (plugs, wires, roter, cap etc......). Replaced the Valve cover gasket. It leaked an unbeleivable amount of oil. When I first looked at the engine I thought that the head, and oil pan gaskets neede replaced also. Well I cleaned up the block and replaced the valve cover gasket and all is well. other misc items where pre-heater hose, heater blower moter, battery hold down tray, PCV valve, new gas tank cap Oh, also new tires.

Total to get it on the road was approximatelly $1592 (also includeds inspections).

Thanks for listening. Just happy.

Oh its a 86 F150, 4wd, 4spd tranny with I-6.

Sounds great, and yeah, it's a great feeling. Hope you get many miles out of it.
