Question Truck pull at the Fair???

Has anyone done a little pulling at their local fair?? Thinking about trying it next weekend , Any suggestions would be great. My truck is a F-350 V10 6SPD 4x4
WITH A 4" LIFT 35"TIRES THXS

Sounds like it should be a great way to find out what new parts you need.

But, try this:
1 - Lower the air down in the rear tires a little, obviously not too low.
2 - If you have anything you can add to the back of your truck for weight, that would be good. Say 500 lbs or so and make sure it's secured and it's over or slightly forward of the rear axle
3 - Kinda hard to do, but if you can find a way to lock out your rear suspension (i.e. make it not flex) that will help to. That way the rear doesn't sag and hop on you.
4 - Make sure your insurance company doesn't know.

Did it!!

Well this past weekend I hooked the old superduty to the sled
Pulled it 243ft sled was around 17,000lbs.
Used 4wd LO and pulled out in 2nd gear
Nothing broke

So how did it compare to the others. Did it do better than you thought it would.?
