no reverse or first gear on 3spd column shift
Looks like the nub is worn off the shift tube in the column. CAn it be repaired? I looked at the LMC catalog and they only list shift tubes for 73-77 manual steering trucks or 78-79 with power steering. My truck is a 79 F-100 manual steering, 3 spd on the column. Where can I find a replacement or how do I repair mine? The Ford dealer only lists parts back to 1980. Will the 73-77 tubes fit? What about the 78-79 power steering shift tube?
