I'm in the process of painting my truck now. It will be changed to the same colors as the Mako.
The factory Red w/ Blue pearl on it will be done away with. It will have the lines changed too. The sides will be Black and high on the sides it will change to White. The Chrome grill & headlight bezels are all Blacked out now. The power mirrors with their factory Gray are Black now, as well as the windshield trim and antenna mast.
It will all be done in Awlgrip paint w/ Clear coat. If your not familiar with Awlgrip, it's pretty much the standard along with Imron as to what boats are painted with. never wax it and a super durable finish. Plus I can buy it cheaper than anything in a auto body supply store.
I put a new tailgate on it, as my brother smashed it years ago.
Here's a pix of the backup camera that I installed in the tailgate.
I will be installing a Pioneer AVIC-N3 head unit w/ IPod adpter after the paint is finished
