Vibration when braking

Is it possible that on the maxima, the rotors are free, that is, not bolted tight to the wheel? It seems that if the rotors are real bad, when it tried moving the caliper back and forth to compensate for the warpage, it couldn't move fast enough, and actually ended up turning the wheels back and forth a little bit to make up for the slack. This would cause you to feel it in the wheel, but also very much so in the truck, as the wheels are turning back and forth quickly. I had bad rotors on my 94 toyota corolla, they shook the car until they were replaced, same thing on my parents 91 f150, and my dads 2000 chrysler concorde. All three of these vehicles shook the car when the rotors were getting bad-the concorde was better than the other two, not nearly as violent. I am just speaking from personal experience, I only know how it was on those cars.
