I just picked up a 74 F-100 Explorer 2wd today. It has a 460 auto with air,and the cab is 100% rust free!Ive never seen a 74 w/a factory 460.The guy told me some crap about it being a one off special order 1 of 3 made(blah blah blah). The vin#is:f10yku04137.I looked that up and it comes back as a 360.The motor in it is the correct year and looks totally factory done.Any ideas?
The other thing is-where can I find a data plate decoder for this year? The ones around here all seem to be for 77-up.I just want to get the whole story before I decide whether to part it out or keep it as a whole truck. Thanks for any advice.
