shutting down?
I have a 2000 7.3 and it will just stop running and then I can start it right back up and it runs fine,The last time it did it the service engine light came on but when I restarted it the light went off its almost like it isnt getting any fuel or like I just shut it off I dont now if this could be a dirty fuel filter?Also for some reason my electric door locks wont work either it sounds like the battery is dead but the truck starts with no problem.Any ideas as to what is going on would be appreciated.

I had the same problem last week (without the door locks) replaced the CPS and it has been running fine since. If your CE light came on you might be able to pull a code. Sounds just like my problem and I did pull up a CPS code and was able to repair very easy thanks to the help of FTE members
