Exhaust Questions
i have a expedition 5.4l and want a dual exhaust (not true dual) and ive heard that the 5.4's arnt loud at all with flowmasters on it i want to thake one cat off becasue it has two. i want it to be super loud but not so loud i get pulled over. i live in kentucky adn we dont have vehicle emissions testing anymore so thats why im doing it. so how would i get a real loud sound, be noise legal and not be a cagillion dollars

i ran mine with one cat and strait pipes and it still wasnt loud, it was louder the stock but still not REAL loud. about the only way ya you will get alot of noise out of it is to cut both cats off and then run ya a muffler or 18 inch glasspack like a red hots or a purple hornie.. then ya will make a little bit of noise...lol that is my set up anyways and sounds pretty good, just have to go in saturday and get a shorter glasspack....lol
