cassette unit and 6 disc
I was wondering if it is possible to get a different unit say a clarion cd unit if the stock 6disc cd changer would still hook up to the clarion i know its long shot but i figure its worth a try

I looked and looked and I could not find any adapter that would let me hook up my 6 CD to the Pioneer that I put in. There are plenty of kits that let you hook up an aftermarket CD changer to the stock stereo, but I couldn't find any that let you go the other way. Maybe someone else on here knows something that will help both of us out.

About the only way is they used to sell some cheaper 6 disc units that just used a low power transmitter for FM. You select the frequency and tune to that. Then you have a second "controller" remote to select your disc, track, etc.
