12 volt conversion
Switched the gages to TPI Instrument 5inch quad units with electronic speedometer. The gages fit perfectly into the dash. Had to use a GM pulse generator from TPI for the speedometer. Screwed it onto transmission speedometer output, ran a couple wires and it worked perfect.
Hardest part was making the gas sending unit fit the existing gas tank opening.
Changes all the bulbs and added a new ignition coil with ballast resister.
Now all i need to do is find a 3:50 rearend to replace the 4:27 unit. Anyone have a rear from a 72 or earlier F100.
