Inner axle seals - D70?

Inner axle seals - D70?
I should have taken the time to check into this while my axles were in pieces but I didn't. What I'm wondering is if inner axle seals, like are used in a front axle that press into the tubes can be found for a rear Dana 70 or if maybe the D60 inner seals may work for a D70. Anyone have any info on this?

Yes, you are correct. I'm going to build a rear steer axle so I'll be cutting the tubes off a D70 and welding new C's onto it and then having custom shafts made. But I need to install seals just like the front axle uses to prevent gear fluid from running out of the tubes.

ok i see now ummmmmmmm well they did put dana 70's in the front of motor homes and some bigger dodges so i would say yes and try napa or a dealership or anyone with a parts book maybe even dynatrac or some other axle dealer
