I have a 94 Cargo Van that I need to replace the back door seals on. Where can I find them? I drove on some dirt roads last weekend that the back of my van looks like a dust bowl.
Close but no pineapple.
I checked there and all they have listed is hardware. Plus I have two swing out door, not a liftgate.
I called the local Ford dealer and he said it was a discontinued item.
I did a search on the Internet and couldn't find anything either...
So...anyone have another idea on where I can find the weatherstripping?
bet if your Ford dealer tried a national parts search, there is a set laying on the top rack of a Ford dealership parts house somewhere.
try this company OEM for all the car manuf.
if they don't make it or can't suggest one of their bulk weatherstripping seal products to make DIY seals, there are none to be had. http://www.fairchildind.com/oem_products.asp?type=62
best to call them.
If you can not find the weatherstripping that is made for the door you can find some different styles in the aftermarket catalogs such as J.C. Whitney. Just a suggestion. I have used these on custom rebuilds of '40s vintage vehicles with success.
