bleeding problems

I am working on my 95 F150 4.9 4speedo/d changed master cylender. I tried bleeding, both peedle and gravity, when I push in the clutch it stays in.
I am lost is there somthing inside that could have broke, or fallen out of place?

Did you do just the master? or the slave also? You could try to draw fluid thru it with a vaccum pump.

I'm assuming you mean 5 speed...

Even after all the air is out of the system, you have to pump the pedal about 5 to 10 times to build up pressure. Then it will work fine.

That would have gotten me too, but a mechanic friend of mine told me about it ahead of time.

Bleed it using the same method as a brake system.
