deck height and related
hello all i am new here and just have a few questions i can't seem to find answers for searching the forum-
what is the deck height on the 300? Has it changed through the years? i ask because i have found pistons with a wide range of compression heights (1.56-1.778) made for the 300 but i can only find 6.23 in rods
i also can't find the valve dimentions, size of the face and length and width of the stem. any help would be much appreciated
i have had a hard time finding specs and numbers for the 300 online, if it weren't for searching this forum i would probably still not have much. just a suggestion but when the string is posted with performance mods it may be helpful to include a page with basic specs for the 300 as well, things like deck height, rocker arm ratios, wrist pin sizes, compresstion height, journal sizes. etc. the basic information you need to really plan out a motor before you try to build it. thanks
