Column wiring
Need a little help with some wiring issues. My son put a '74 column (auto) in a '73 F-100 (formerly manaual). He messed up the plug on the column side so we got one out of a '79 (manual). We've managed to get turn signals working but no brake lights or emergency flashers. Between the 3 years, not all the wire colors match and Haynes manual hasn't been much help. Anyone have any sites or pics of wiring diagrams? TIA.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 16-Sep-02 AT 01:01 PM (EST)]I feel for ya man, I put a 79 column in a 72. Couldn't find any good diagrams, pulled both connectors apart, and spent 3 hours using trial and error. 
The 79 had 12? wires and 72 had 7.:-staun Wasn't any fun.

Look through the related threads here on this & the electrical forum.
I have answered at least three column -wiring threads here in the last week.
