So heres what i got...
Im swapping out the 300 for a 460.
Currently im running a 300 and a t-18 in a 4wd 86 f-150
what i will be running is a 460 and a t-18 in a 4wd 86 f-150
what i have so far is
1. Motor, i have pretty much all the basics, i need to bore hone hottank the block, get bigger pistons and some more stuff but its basically al there.
2. Frame towers....
3. Bellhousing
4. Carb
What i know that i need so far is
1. alterator
2. ignition system
3. motor mounts
4. exhaust
5. fuel pump?
6. water pump
7. Clutch an flywheel
that is all i can currently think of, is there anything else im forgetting that major? and what about putting the 460 frame towers on the frame, how should i go about doing this? Do i need to redrill? and if so how do I know where to drill the holes?
