2005 CD Player Skipping, Other Problems

I have a 2005 Lariat Super Crew.

The CD player skips at times, in addition to problems not recognizing disks (showing "bad disk" in the display). The CD's are brand new so that not the problem.

Any thoughts out there? Can I get a new one via the warranty?

Take it in, it's a warranty fix.
