Adding HP to 2005 STX
Hey all, got a question.
I just recently returned from 2yr tour over seas and bought a 2005 STX 4x4. I'm dissapointed in the power that the 4.6L V8 is putting out, only 231HP!? Any suggestions? Cold air intake? Air Induction? Exhaust? Those are about the only real options that come to mind other than a turbo or supercharger (which of course is not available for the 4.6L, not like I'd have the money to invest in one anyway)
And how far can I go on adding performance parts before I void my warranty? Many thanks

I just have the K&N replacement filter, and throttle body spacer. With that alone i can feel a difference. Of course as mentioned above, if you willing to spend a little more cash, then you'll get more of a difference. These 4.6L motors have alot of potential... Cant wait for a supercharger to come out...
