Wiring Harness mild performance setup
I've got a 1979 F-250, Camper Special with a 351M being built as a 400. Soon I will be putting on an Edelbrock intake and 650cfm 4V carb w/electric choke.
After all the new parts, I am looking at the old tired looking wiring harness I hung up at the rebuild start and am wondering if I can do better. The original engine caught fire for a few minutes, and overall it had seen alot of oil and heat before that. Also, what in the way of modifications for my setup, if any?
I know these may be lame questions, but this is my first rebuild and I want to know relative availability and cost as some parts have been hard to come by.
